Tuning Calculator for the C6 Model
Personalized Tuning With the premier model C6, you can personalize the way your speaker sounds. We believe that the C6 does not require tuning. It is engineered to have a distinctive deep bass playback unlike any other. This section is for the customers interested in personalized tuning only. Simple Process Your installer will begin with your new speaker data sheet. They will enter that information into the calculator (below) and determine the precise vent length for you. Finally, they will easily remove the vents and accurately trim them before replacing them in your now tuned C6.
Vent Tuning Calculator Warning: Tuning your C6 is optional. Please leave to a trained professional. Cutting the vents voids the warranty on the vents only; full warranty otherwise still in place. Usage: Speaker specifications (Vs) and (Fb) are given in your speaker literature. Enter Vs and Fb into the calculator and press 'Calculate'. The vent length to trim will display under the 'Calculate' button. Disregard negative numbers and try other values. Disregard numbers over 10.5 and try other values. A full account of the final enclosure specifications and volumes is listed under the calculator.
